Instead of starting with a promise of AI citations, ask whether a reader can easily understand what the company does and where its information comes from.

Describe your offer clearly.

We recommend a clear, separate page for each main service. Explain the scope, intended audience and working process. Marketing slogans should not replace these answers.

Connect structure with content.

Structured data should match what visitors can see. Google also explains that valid markup does not guarantee rich results — see the official structured data policies. Schema implementation alone is not a promise of results.

Separate actions from observations.

Record what you changed. In the measurement plan, record the questions, language, market and answer categories. This is our proposed way of organising the work, not a guarantee of how an AI engine will behave.

A useful baseline is one you can return to. Record brand presence, missing recommendations and the limits of your observations.
